Trauma-informed leasing is not merely a trend but the future standard for organizations dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence. Indiana began implementing the Lethality Assessment Protocol - Maryland Model in 2009. Throughout that time, it was often asked how survivors who were screened felt about the process itself. It was the one question that couldn't really be answered. Until now. This workshop will explore the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence's in-depth evaluation of survivor's experience of the LAP process, survivor's response, and the changes that will happen because of it

In 2021, ICADV collaborated with programs from across the state to better understand and evaluate the "mobile advocacy" service model for survivors. Some programs have been conducting Mobile Advocacy since the 1970s while others transitioned to MA in the wake of COVID-19. Through the process, we discovered how impactful MA is to survivors in centering their needs. In our presentation, you will hear from folxs doing MA across the state as well as a sneak peek into our MA Toolkit to support other programs doing this work in Indiana and around the country.
