About me
Merissa Hauptstueck (she/her) has served as the Anti-Trafficking Special Projects Coordinator with the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking (ICESAHT) since the summer of 2022. Merissa is a trained therapist and used her previous clinical experience to enrich her advocacy within the anti-violence movement. Merissa has previously worked as a therapist for children and at-risk youth, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, people with substance use disorders, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. In her current role, Merissa provides human trafficking training and technical assistance to rape crisis centers and service providers in parallel fields, such as community organizations, housing providers, and victim services providers. A graduate of Anderson University (IN) and Ball State University, Merissa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
