About me
I am a native of Indianapolis and currently reside on the northeast side of town. I recently made a career shift, having completed in August an MPA - Policy Analysis and an MA Philanthropic Studies at IUPUI (now IU Indianapolis) in 2022. Previously, I obtained a Master of Divinity and served in pastoral and church administrative roles, followed by about 15 years in retail sales management. I have been in my current position at Coburn Place for only five weeks and I'm learning so much every day!
In February, I adopted a beautiful, rambunctious, and sometimes naughty puppy named Fern. She keeps me on my toes! I love to talk about all things related to policy, equity, race and racism, and issues related to navigating the world as a woman. I love to read, write, sing, garden, and hang out over a coffee and great conversation.
